Alice has taught drawing, painting and printmaking at the Creative Workshop since 1984, where she is a former head of the children’s art program. She emphasizes a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable and eager to learn.
Alice attended Pratt Institute and earned a BA through Brooklyn College and an MS from SUNY Brockport. She has exhibited at the Gallery’s Rochester-Finger Lakes Exhibition; University of Rochester’s Hartnett Gallery; the American Association of University Women, Rochester; Skidmore College; and Rice Gallery, Albany.
Her paintings and prints have been selected for a MAG Patron Print commission, RPO Patron Print commission and WXXI Showcase Award. She has been awarded Best of Show in exhibitions of the Rochester Art Club, as well as fellowships to Skidmore College for painting and printmaking.
Alice has taught at RIT and in the East Rochester and Brighton school districts. She is a past president of the Rochester Art Club and a member of numerous art groups.
