Susan Link

Susan Link has taught at the Creative Workshop since 2000 and served as Art Day School coordinator since 2008. She encourages thinking outside the box and using unique materials and innovative techniques that motivate students to explore and experiment. Her experience working with creative kids and her knowledge and excitement about art, lead to magical classes for kids ages 4 to 14.

Sue earned her BS from SUNY Brockport in interdisciplinary arts for children and sculpture and her MA in art education from the University of Arizona, Tucson. She has taught art at the preschool, elementary,  high school and college levels. As Art Day School coordinator, she works each summer with dozens of talented artist-teachers and hundreds of creative children to handle all details of a highly successful art education “camp.”

As an artist, she has been included in exhibitions at the Center at High Falls, Stella Art Gallery, and the Elizabeth Collection, Rochester; Rainbow Gallery, Brockport; and MUSE Gallery, Tucson. She was awarded an individual artist grant in 2010 by the Arts & Cultural Center of Greater Rochester.
