Art Social, Expressive Arts for Children
As a multi-faceted artist, personal trainer and mother, Sara Blake pays attention to her students’ needs while positively encouraging them to try new techniques, relax and have fun, and ultimately trust their instincts. Blake has extensively volunteered in children’s classes and special family programs at the Creative Workshop.
A Rochester, New York native and East High School graduate, Blake studied art education at The State University of New York College at Buffalo, New York. As well as art history at Monroe Community College, in Rochester, New York. She is completing her Bachelor of Arts in the Interdisciplinary Arts for Children Program at The State University of New York at Brockport, NY.
Blake’s abstract painting continues to evolve through color, texture and various instrumentation on canvas and paper. Though her passion is for painting, she also enjoys creating ceramics and jewelry.
