Art history/art appreciation
Following a career in mechanical engineering, Mary pursued an MA through Syracuse University’s Renaissance art history program in Florence.
Having spent over two years in Italy—both studying and leading groups of undergraduate students—Mary’s primary focus has been Italian Art and its historical context. She is particularly interested in the early Christian period, church history and iconography.
Mary has taught art history at Finger Lakes Community College, Brockport, and is currently a visiting assistant professor at RIT.
