Children’s Art, Art Day School
Laura started at the workshop as a volunteer and has worked as a teacher’s assistant and Art Day School teacher since 2010. She earned her BA in art education from Nazareth College and has taught in local preschools, afterschool programs and privately.
Laura shares a studio space at the Hungerford Building in Rochester and has participated in several art shows and sales around the city.
As an artist, Laura is always experimenting with new techniques and influences. As an art teacher, she believes that children should be exposed to all things art at an early age and feel free to be themselves creatively. She strives to learn as much as she can about her students in order to provide them with interesting, engaging lessons that connect to the greater world.
