She has collaborated with pianist Dr. Kevin Nitch on a series of ten concerts called Labyrinth of Sound and Light, for which she produced the visual art. The artist’s work in this series was featured in the Performing Artists Series at Roberts Wesleyan College, where she subsequently had a group show at the Davison Gallery concurrent with a solo show at Northeastern Seminary. Her work has been collected by institutions and private collectors in the US and abroad.

Nicastro has also taught Theology & the Arts classes at many local churches and privately.

Discovering the power of one’s own imagination in exploring art is what Nicastro seeks to offer in her classes at the Creative Workshop. Her lifelong interest in the place of imagination in the creative process has driven her study and her work. Committed to nurturing each individual’s imagination, her teaching style permits experimentation and daring.
