g. a. Sheller has taught painting at the Creative Workshop since 1983. She has toured the world as an artist and instructor—in France, Italy, Scotland and Ireland, as well as Rochester—aiming to help students, beginners to advanced, grow in their painting ability and learn to paint successful, expressive views of their world. Her own artwork is often a synthesis of painting and multi techniques, featuring colorful interpretations of the landscape.
g. a. earned her BFA at the College of New Rochelle, with additional study at Penn State and Yale. She has been noted in Who’s Who in American Art and as a Member of Excellence of the Atlanta Artists Center. Her paintings and prints have won awards at the Art Birmingham (MI) National, the Atlanta Artists Club and the Rochester Art Club. She was named a winner in “The Best of New York State” painting competition. She has been a visiting artist in the Pittsford and Irondequoit School Districts.
g. a. is represented by Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery, Canandaigua and Kelly’s Fine Art, Alexandria, VA. Her work is included in the collections of Chase Bank, the Memorial Art Gallery, AG, Xerox Corporation, Eastman Kodak, IBM, Strong Memorial Hospital and Rochester General Hospital.
