Volunteer at the Creative Workshop

The Creative Workshop is looking for volunteers to assist teachers and students with their Saturday weekly classes and Summer programs. Volunteers must:

be at least 16 years of age
have experience working with young children and art activities
commit to a minimum of 3 hours per session on a sequence of Saturday mornings during the school year. For the Summer program the volunteer must commit to a minimum of 2 weeks in the morning or 1 week for a 9 to 5 PM day.

Applications for Spring or Summer 2009 assignments must be applied for by March 28 for Saturday volunteers and by May 18 for the Summer Art Day School program. After filling out the application form, volunteers will be contacted for an interview. These positions are competitive. Once accepted the training for the Summer volunteers will be on Saturday afternoon, June 6.
