University Avenue Improvements

MAG/University Avenue
Traffic and Construction Updates

Visitor alert: University Avenue has now reopened to westbound traffic and will remain two way until spring 2012.

Yes, it’s really happening! In a few short months, the construction site in front of MAG will be transformed into Centennial Sculpture Park.

In the meantime, visitors may park in the Goodman Street lot and enter through the main doors facing University Avenue.

Parking is also available in the auxiliary parking lot off the back driveway, and patrons parking here can enter the Gallery through the nearby entrance pictured at right. In late October, an automatic door was installed to make access easier for handicapped visitors. No need to walk around the building‚ just look for the bright blue awning!

At the same time, University Avenue is getting a new look as part of the ArtWalk Extension Project!
